Layoff news: Pulse-Link laid off 50 to 60 people and closed door

A tip from a reader:

“One of the best American UWB (Ultra Wide Band technology) companies, Pulse-Link that was located in Carlsbad, CA laid off about 35 people on September 26^th, 2008 and then, finally closed the doors on December 29^th, 2008. It means that at least 50 to 60 more people were lay off.”

I am the Co-Founder and CTO of Pulse-LINK.
As Mark Twain is famous for saying when he was reported dead by a journalist before he had actually died. "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated". Pulse-LINK is still alive and our doors are open. We have had major layoffs as a result of funding issues. However, we are in the process of recapitalizing and expect to re-hire many of our laid-off staff. Thanks for your concern.
