Any additional advice for an on-site interview as a development manager?

I subscribed to your superb Amazon guide in preparation for an on-site interview next week as a software development manager. Is there any additional advice you might have for that job family?

In addition to what I wrote in How to Get A Job At Amazon.com guide, since you're a development
manager, I would emphasize a few things:1) Code review is huge in amazon. make sure you mention it during
interview. This is because amazon has a philosophy that developers
should eat their own dog food. So, amazon has very few QA people. Its
dev-to-QA ratio is like 10-to-1, or something like that. Developers
are expected to fix their own mistakes.2) The importance of providing operational support: most dev managers
and developers carry a pager -- you're on-call one week out of every 4
to 8 weeks. amazon.com is a mission critical site. The stuff must
work.3) Ability to hire and grow the team: amazon is growing. it's very
challenging to hire qualified, hard-working software development
engineers without compromising quality. You sound like that you've
been doing this for a while. Definitely try to demonstrate your
ability to screen candidates and recruit.Hope this helps.
